The power of your thoughts

A Cherokee Legend of two wolves allowing you to understand yourself a little further.
Staying brief, in this Article, I am simply sharing a theory "A Cherokee Legend of two wolves" which makes you think about who you really are with a strong focus on what your thoughts are and the power you have over yourself and your reality once you no longer allow your thoughts to control you.
Two wolves, a Cherokee Legend
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.
“A fight is going on inside all of us,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves:
One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
He continued,
“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."
The grandson then asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf wins? ”
The old Cherokee simply replied,
“The one you feed.”

The amount of discussions held on the topic of “who you are”, in respect to your mind - body - spirit are endless. For centuries, philosophers, psychologists and scientists have pondered upon the fundamental questions of what life is to get closer to understanding who we are. Endless factors play a role to this.
The stunning fact is, no matter how much you research, there is no actual definition or answer to this question. All research will talk about following aspects, mixing theories which are pondered upon in science and spirituality:
- The conscious mind
- The subconscious mind
- The ego
- Your higher self
Fact is, in the 21st Century, as of 2019, we still do not have a simple, concrete and universal understanding of the human being! We have cloned animals, have created robots which follow arithmetic programs based on the human mind but we still do not have concrete answers to following fundamental questions about life:
- Why are we alive?
- What does it mean to be a human being?
- Who am I and why do I exist?
Once science and spirituality work together and understand that they are actually saying the exact same things just speaking a different language, we will make revolutionary advancements as a society as a whole!
We are generation change.
Enjoy! Yours truly,
